Germany-based Siemens is one of the world's largest electrical and electronics companies, and one of the most well-known and respected companies in China. In the 2011 fiscal year, Siemens China raked in €6.39 billion in sales, a 16 percent increase, and €6.24 billion in new orders, an 18 percent increase. Siemens China has become No. 2 for revenue growth among Siemens regional organizations worldwide, indicating its fast expansion in China. Siemens has contributed a lot to the sustainable development of China with its environmental portfolio and innovative solutions.So far, Siemens has established 16 R&D centers, 69 operating companies and 65 regional offices in China, covering all of its main business areas. Siemens China, whose headquarters are located in Chaoyang District, Beijing, has a total of about 30,000 employees across the country, making it one of the largest foreign-invested employers in the country.
