French cyclists cross the world to Beijing

Basile Pottier and Simon Poniard (2nd from L), two French guys, are get ready for their voyage from Paris to Beijing on January 27, 2014. The two travel enthusiasts decided to cycle from Paris to Beijing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Sino-French diplomatic ties. They will travel 12,500 kilometers along the Silk Road to cross ten countries before they finally arrive in Beijing in late August. They are expected to reach China in late June. [Photo from CRI]
