Creativity Lightening Up Beijing, an annual comprehensive creativity activity, will be held in the city's hutongs for the first time.

Previously held at Ditan Park, the host site has been relocated to the Qinglong Hutong in Beijing's Dongcheng District, famous as the location of over ten creative spaces.

This year's event, hosted from September 23rd to 30th, will invite residents who are interested in creativity to experience the fantastic atmosphere of the many creative spaces.

In Gehua Plaza Qinglong Hutong No. 1, Apple Fans can take part in a design exhibition where they can see a contract with Steve Job's own autography, the first iPhone mobile and about 100 Apple products. Meanwhile, the creative spaces as well as a market will also be open to public.

Apart from the Qinglong Hutong, visitors are recommended to join in the Beijing ONE International Arts Festival or window design activities on South Luogu Lane.

Around 20 creative institutions, where visitors can watch dramas, exhibitions and take part in DIY activities will be open to the public for free during the event.
