During the first Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei park development seminar, experts pointed out that coordinated development is the key to heritage protection, the Beijing Morning Post reported on Monday.

Gao Dawei, vice director of Beijing Municipal Administration Center of Parks, said that the imperial culture is preserved in all three places. However, Beijing, supported by favorable policies, funding and information, only focuses on the development of itself and has an overload of tourists, which threatens the preservation of the antiques, while the good resources in Heibei Province and Tianjin are neglected.

Gao proposed to coordinate the 430 cultural heritage sites in all three places. He also brought about the concept of "Greater Imperial Palace," to include multiple imperial palaces and resorts in China.
